This is a commission I made for someone. Its called Blue Sapphire and its approximately 7x4 inches in size. made over a wire and aluminum armature. Done in super sculpey clay and painted in acrylic paints. Its probably one of my favorites

The colours are so bright and eyecatching, and the blue goes so beautifully with the golden yellow beak and talons.
I love all the feather details, and the fact that you've chosen to take it outside to photograph rather than just having it on a desk or what have you.
